How much do dentures cost?
Every denture is as unique as the person wearing it. Cost depends on your treatment, the time involved, and the materials used. That's why we offer free consultations: we can examine your needs, explain your options, and give you a clear price for a plan tailored to you.
Why choose a denturist?
A denturist specializes in the design, construction, fitting and adjustment of complete and removable partial dentures. Working directly with your denturist means your care can be tailored to your mouth, facial appearance and individual needs.
At DentureWorks, most of the work is completed in our in-house laboratory by a denturist who knows you and your treatment plan.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with our clinic. A denturist specializes in the design, construction, fitting and adjustment of complete and removable partial dentures.
Why are my dentures loose?
Your gums and the bone beneath them can change over time, affecting how your dentures fit. A reline may help restore stability by refitting the denture to your gums. Come in for an assessment so we can discuss the right option for you.
How long do repairs and relines take?
Most repairs can be completed on site while you wait. Relines take an average of 1–2 hours, and most repairs take less time. The timing and cost depend on the repair and whether an impression or additional work is needed. We’ll discuss what is involved before proceeding. Please call ahead to arrange a visit.
How should I clean my dentures?
Clean your dentures every day, especially after meals, to help remove food debris and prevent buildup. Remove them from your mouth, then gently brush with a soft toothbrush or denture brush, mild liquid soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly before putting them back in.
Pay attention to the spaces between the teeth and the surfaces that rest against your gums. Avoid regular abrasive toothpaste, which can scratch the denture. Follow the instructions for any denture-cleaning product, and ask Chris about the right cleaning routine for your denture and any soft lining.
Do you welcome insurance plans?
All insurance plans are welcome. We also provide insurance estimates. Bring your plan details to your consultation so we can discuss your proposed treatment.
What if I need an emergency or home visit?
We strive to accommodate denture emergencies and after-hours appointments. House calls and hospital visits may also be arranged for patients who cannot attend the clinic. Call 905-821-0334 and follow the instructions to speak with the denturist or leave a message.
